Semester 2 Reports
Congratulations to our students for their efforts in learning across all subjects for the Semester 1 reports. It was lovely to read the goals of students that had been achieved and the growth they had made in the first six months of 2025. The range of learning dispositions at the end of the report reflect the interactions our students have with their teachers, peers and the information they are presented with in their lessons. We use them as adults in our work, social and family dynamics every day as we continue learning throughout our lives.
Goal Setting Meetings
You will again have the opportunity to meet with your child’s teacher at the beginning of Term 3 to discuss “where to next” with goals for the remainder of the year. Please take the time over the holidays to talk through strengths and areas of need for your child and share expectations for learning and growth. Bookings will be open on COMPASS at the beginning of term 3.
Communication Reminder
Our staff welcome communication from families; however, teachers have their own families after hours and are not able to respond to emails. In a regular workday our teachers are responsible for the supervision, learning and care of students. We aim to respond to parent communication within 48 hours. This allows our staff to look into the situation and provide the information that is asked for. If it is a matter of urgency, you can contact the office via phone and leave a message.
Change of details
If you have moved house in the holidays or have a new phone number or you have new family members picking up your child, could you please update the records with the office by email or call them on 49328605.
After School Pick UP – Kiss and Ride
VISOR IDENTIFICATION
With numbers of cars through kiss and ride, casual and new staff on duty, it is increasingly hard for our staff to identify the students to call for the vehicle. We need name identification on your visors. Please fill in the form attached for a surname tag for your car. We will print and laminate the labels and send them home in Week 1 of next term. Attach this to the visor with rubber bands. This must be displayed to pick up your children from church lines. This will ensure that traffic runs smoothly.
https://forms.office.com/r/ZwYbeQPRdw
TRAFFIC REMINDERS
Cars cannot be stopped across the pedestrian crossing or in the bus bay. If kiss and ride is full, please go around the block and try for the next break in the traffic – this allows for all buses to leave on time.
Wishing all our families a very safe and restful holiday

Goal Setting Meetings
Keep an eye out next term for our Semester 2 Goal setting Meeting bookings taking place in Week 3. In class, students will be reflecting on their current learning goals in preparation for these meetings.
I encourage all parents and carers to take the time to discuss their child’s goals with them in preparation. Remembering that it is important to equally share successes as well as set goals for improvement. This could be an opportune time to talk about Growth Mindset and watch the clip together!
Cyber Safety
As the holidays approach, it's important to remind our children about staying safe online. With more free time, they might spend extra hours online. Encourage them to use strong passwords, avoid sharing personal information, and be cautious when interacting with strangers online.
The e-safety commissioner website has some brilliant resources to support parents with tips, advice and resources for helping to manage online challenges. These includes:
- Having conversations with your child around tricky subjects
- Advice on the correct age for using various technologies
- Tips on using parental controls
- Much more!
School Uniforms
Our staff have noted some accessories and variations that are not part of the school uniform creeping in.
I urge all parents and carers to please discuss the following reminders of our uniform standards with your children.
